clothing is made under the label “pepito mimumo”.  pepito mimumo is one of elaine’s cats.  she picked him out at the montreal spca over seven years ago.  he was already really old, and used to fall asleep in his water bowl and he’s even older now.  some think he’s immortal. he was called “tsk tsk” for over two years, until the name “pepito mimumo” came to her one day.  all of the clothing is made in very limited runs, and many are one of a kind.  “pepito mimumo” likes to use  natural fabrics like wool, cotton, silk and linen and loves any excuse to use beautiful vintage buttons.
